In 2017 I had several pieces in a show at the Fallbrook Art Center, and at the reception, a woman introduced herself to me as an art consultant.  To make a long story short, I was commissioned to create seven wall sculptures for the Viejas Resort and Casino in Alpine (delivered in 2018), and two pieces for the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula in 2019. 

The casinos’ designers requested me to recreate pieces seen on my website, but in different sizes and aspect ratios.  Recreating past work isn’t very satisfying for me so I agreed to reimagine the pieces to their size requirements.  Commissions are satisfying in that they validate what I am doing, though I would prefer to be given a size, theme, and color pallet.
